What is TwitchDecidesMinecraft?

TwitchDecidesMinecraft is an exciting game mode that turns your Minecraft adventure into an interactive experience for you and your viewers. Imagine your chat getting the chance to directly influence your gameplay. As a viewer, you become part of the game and can take the game in a whole new direction by voting.

TwitchDecidesMinecraft brings unique interactivity to you and your viewers, making the game a shared experience for all of you. Your viewers can team up to guide you through a world of challenges. Whether they push you to start over, move on or change your path, the choice is yours!

Sounds good, but how?

To make all of this happen, you need three things:

A Server,

We provide you with this plugin for a small hosting fee (see “Info”). Please note that we do not provide the plug-in as such for download. The server remains online for the scheduled time, and you can control when the game mode becomes active. Your data will remain available after the booked time, but for a maximum of 30 days. The server has two slots and is only accessible to you, your registered companion (if existent) and the CodeRoria team.

A registration on our website

In order to adapt the game mode perfectly to your needs, we need information from you. For this purpose, we have built a form that should clarify the details. Please make sure you read the questions in the form carefully – they will not only determine the difficulty of the game mode, but also how smoothly the event can run on your channel.

And an Idea of how the game works

As soon as you start the game, the chaos begins. With the interval you specified when registering, votes will now appear in your chat that let your viewers choose between three random events. There is no guarantee that only positive or negative events will appear. After 30 seconds, the voting will end and the winning option will be executed in the game. So that you don’t get spoiled, we recommend that you don’t look at the votes – you will already see the result (and if not, it will appear in the Minecraft chat). In case your chat is bashing each other’s heads in and voting for several options in equal amounts, we will take your fate in our hands and choose something ourselves from the events with the most votes.
